Oulanka River Canoeing - Upper part

Paddle through the stunning Oulanka Canyon, enjoy the tranquility of the winding floodplains, and admire the natural and cultural heritage of Oulanka National Park.

The Taivalköngäs rapids included in the route must be bypassed on land. Clear signage and a canoe slide facilitate the transport of the canoe past the rapids.

This route offers a chance for magnificent nature experiences and unforgettable moments.

The length of the route is approximately 13 kilometers (3 hours).
Transport takes about 2.5 hours.

Prices:

130 €/adult, 70 €/child (5-12 years)

The price includes:

• transportation from Basecamp Oulanka to the starting point of the route and back from the endpoint
• chosen paddling equipment: canoe (for 2-3 people), kayak, SUP board, or packraft
• paddle, life jacket, dry bag, map, and safety instructions

For an additional fee:

• snack package 16 €/adult, 10 €/child

The route can be combined with paddling on the lower part of the Oulankajoki River, offering a pleasant 1-2 night canoe trip. Request a quote for your desired combination!
