Snowshoeing on the Arctic Circle

Have you been dreaming about stepping on the Arctic Circle line and crossing it? Then this trip is just for you!

The Arctic Circle goes through the village of Hautajärvi in the northern end of Oulanka National Park, 45 minutes´ drive from Basecamp. During this half-day trip we will have an opportunity to cross the famous line and get the Arctic Circle Crosser diploma.

We will go snowshoeing in the forest admiring the beautiful nature and have a hot drink by a campfire. Lunch will be served at the visitor centre, where you can also see a small exhibition presenting the flora and fauna of Lapland's wetlands. Duration ~4 hours.
